Kinross House

Create Engineering were proud to be asked by 3DReid Architects to support the redevelopment of one of the most important Grade A listed buildings in Scotland. Historical writer, Dan Cruikshank  wrote a full documentary on the building and its importance.

Thomas Johnstone were the Main Contractor with TB+A Engineering as Building Services Consultant.

Hopetoun House

Working with Gray McPherson Architects, we completely overhauled a Grade A listed barn that had remained direclict for numerous years and turned it back into the estate department offices for Aithrie Estates.

QS was Ralph Ogg and Main Contractor was  Richard Street from Fife

The Edinburgh Academy – Performing Arts

One of our first projects with The Edinburgh Academy was the re-development of the rear of their  William Burn Grade A listed Main Building.

Designed by Broadway Malyan with McLeod and Aitken as QS, this project was to turn a poorly used area into their Performing Arts Space which could double up as a sports hall. All whilst we kept the school’s heating system in the basement live.

Selkirk Weaving Mill

In an open competition for the renovation of the mill, held by Eildon Housing Association, we were selected to work with Gray Marshall Architects.

Their building was a two storey Grade A listed weaving mill

Moray Place, Edinburgh

We were asked by Richard Murphy Architects to work on an extremely complicated design in one of Edinburgh’s most prestigious streets.This involved piling and retaining walls to an area that could only be reached through the house.
